Hilton Park Nicosia was graced with humanity, beauty and love on Thursday, April 26 during “An Afternoon of Giving” organized by UNICEF Cyprus.
More than seven hundred fashion-lovers were dazzled by this year’s creations at the charity fashion show presented by Mindy, the well known women’s fashion house.
The dance group Nicosia Dance Centre added grace and rhythm to this successful event. In a brief statement, Ms. Maro Panayiotou, Executive Director of UNICEF, said that this particular event embodied the rich humanitarian work undertaken by the international organization in Cyprus. She also thanked the sponsors and other supporters for making possible this colourful expression of love towards the children of the world. In his address, the Goodwill Ambassador of UNICEF, Mr. Nasos Ktorides, under whose auspices the event was organized, said he wished that “the beauty of children be acknowledged and celebrated”.
The main sponsor of the “Afternoon of Giving” was the humanitarian, not-for-profit organization, Athanasios Ktorides Foundation, while the other sponsors were Εύρηκα (Eureka) and the Ministry of Beauty. The fashion show organized by Diva Model Agency.
